除了提到的VAS诊断接口外，外部诊断信息系统还支持与SAE-J2534兼容的其他诊断接口。
要进行调试，请在启动ODIS服务之前，通过USB端口将相应的盒子连接到诊断测试仪，并安装适当的驱动程序软件。
软件安装可能需要管理员权限。
使用与SAE-J2534兼容的接口的PassThru（VCI）设备必须经过验证才能与ODIS服务进行通信。如果设备已经过验证，则可以从PassThru设备的相应制造商的支持下获得。对于未经验证的PassThru设备，ODIS服务无法提供支持。
